How Did It All Start
Ace Paddlers, was a consultant organisation for the General Thimmaya National Academy of Adventure, a Govt. of Karnataka enterprise. We have safely taken with us more than 87,000 people in the past 25 years.
What We Do
We provide people real life time memorable experience through white water rafting at Barpole and many other rivers. We at Ace Paddlers give priority to utmost safety of every adventure enthusiast in aqua & allied adventure sports. We do not compromise on safety and services. Hence, we allow people of in the age group of 12 years and above (we have taken 72 year old lady with us too and returned safely) in our white water operations. We allow children of 6 years above to participate in other aqua sports activities.
Our Professional Qualification
All our professionals & support staff are qualified & experienced with a clean record of safety. The equipment/ gear used are state of the art & are of international safety standards and practice. Most of us are of NOLS, USA certified Wilderness First Responders [very advanced First Aid] and CPR & Rescue 3 certified - swift water rescue professionals. All of us have exceptionally high safety track records with zero accident history and all the guides have undergone a high standard skill set screening before being the part of AcePaddlers. Hence, we vouch on safety as we have done through past, for decades during our programs. We are passion driven people putting whole and soul to serve you better, provide quality experience. Adventure is a calculated risk, which we undertake on behalf of you to ensure your safety.
How We Do It
All the participants are are provided with all the safety gear. It is repeatedly cross checked for secure and snug fit to ensure your safety. Then you will be taken through a short and complete safety briefing session which will prepare you for self-rescue in case of some eventuality during your white water rafting trip. It is also a great morale booster adding to your confidence to go through a never before kind of thrill. It is a kind of rejuvenating rush of adrenaline which will charge your adventure taste buds for the lifetime.
Our Social Responsibility
We believe in giving back to the society in as many ways as possible. A major part of our revenue is spent on Youth Empowerment Programs organized for students and rural youth. It involves personality development workshop on themes like conservation, waste management, alternative and renewable energies.

His zeal for travel and infectious enthusiasm led him to explore adventure tours that give an insight not only to places but also to the people and the culture present there. Manjunatha has been a mentor for various governments. His days are now spent researching the lesser known places with people who he works with closely.

She is the first lady to be certified as White Water Rescue Technician from Rescue 3 International and first lady to log hundreds of hours on Jet Ski in india. The woman on a mission to take you places and bring people together in a manner never done before. Sowmya is a passionate traveller and also an avid water sports professional. She is well known for her effort in promoting eco-tourism and her contribution to the outdoor education of under privileged children.
